CadNic collects zero data. The desktop application operates 100% offline. No telemetry. No analytics. No cloud connections. Your data never leaves your machine — period.

All recognition is performed locally using models bundled with the application. No API calls are made during recognition. Your screenshots, equations, and the resulting LaTeX stay entirely on your computer.

This website uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics service that does not use cookies, does not track users across sites, and is fully compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and PECR. No personal data is collected.

We do not use any tracking pixels. We do not fingerprint your browser.

We use some essential cookies to make this site work. Subject to your choices, we and/or our partners may also use cookies and similar technologies for:

• Measuring and improving site performance and providing enhanced functionality
• Providing personalized product recommendations and tailoring content based on your preferences
• Showing you relevant ads on other sites

Payments are processed by Stripe (for USD payments) and Razorpay (for INR payments in India). We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full payment details on our servers.

When you make a purchase, we store your email address and order details (amount, currency, tier purchased) solely for license delivery and customer support. Payment processor privacy policies apply to the payment transaction itself:

We collect your email address only in these scenarios:

• Purchase: To deliver your license key and provide customer support.
• Waitlist: Only if you voluntarily sign up. You can request removal at any time by emailing [email protected].

We never sell, share, or rent your email address to third parties. Emails are sent via Resend, our transactional email provider.

When you activate a license, the desktop app sends a machine fingerprint (a one-way hash) and machine name to verify your license. This data is used solely to enforce the per-user device limit and is not shared with anyone.

You can request to:

• View all data we hold about you
• Delete your data (waitlist, order records)
• Deactivate your license on all machines
